About Me

I am a stay at home mom of a beautiful little girl. I also have 3 stepchildren, ages 21, 13, and 10. I also have another little girl on the way. I have been married since late 2010 to the craziest, funniest, and most stubborn man in the world. I love him with all of my heart, and would not change anything about him.

My best friends are (oddly enough) his ex wife, and his daughter. I have always been surprised at what the strangest situations can bring.

We have three dogs, whom have a love-hate relationship with me. =) I love them, but most of the time, they bug me. They always bark, are under my feet, and Sadie stinks...really bad.

I love to take pictures. I have a Fujifilm Finepix JX digital camera. I also have a 1977 minolta, with TONS of accessories, however, do not use it much because it still takes film, and its much easier to hit the print button on my laptop than to drive to the store to have the film developed. My family is my favorite thing to photograph, however, I will not be posting pics of them.  Instead, you get everything else. Mostly trees, flowers, and sceneries and pets that I like. I am hoping to someday have my own photography business, but with this economy, that dream probably won't come true.


I like to do crafts, however, am quite the beginner. My biggest crafting tool is my sewing machine. It is a Singer Simple (obviously for beginners) but I love it! Most of my fabrics are things that I get second hand, or old clothes that I no longer wear. Sheets, I have learned, make good scrap fabric. I am currently experimenting with blankets and pillows. I am however, my worst critic and usually throw things out that some others say are great.
